Hey all! Here are the meeting minutes from our monthly OpenUX Call.

1. Bounty Manager UI progress
@Vasilis gave us a quick tour presentation of the Bounty Manager UI.
Rocio made live feedbacks on the designs and proposed to create a working group to help.
@Vasilis will share the figma designs on the group to facilitate the feedback process.
This conversation will continue on the UX Guild group if you want to participate too.
2. Update on the UX Bounty
September has been busy — We’ve started building the Notion HQ where you can find all the available resources we have so far. Keep in mind some sections are WIP as we are building them.
[ Explore the UX Bounty Notion HQ]
In the HQ, you can see a new nomenclature to navigate the issues.
[UXB-1] = UX Issue #1;
[UXB-2] = UX Issue #2;
etc…
You can also follow each issues at a glance in the HQ.
Any feedback, improvements, things you would like to see on the Notion HQ?
Let us know
Coming back to the timeline we shared last month, here’s the updated version:
Reading notes:
- We reduced the number of scoped issues from 7 to 5.
- We merged UX Issue #7 (Standard indicator on the state of tokens) with UX Issue #6 - Glossary: Copy Standards on Technical Jargon.
- Due to capacity constraints, we decided to push UX Issue #4 - Funds Recovery Process to the next batch.
- After consolidating the work into Notion and progressing on the 5 issues in parallel, we realized that using GitHub as the PM tool was overkill at this stage. We’re not ruling out GitHub but will reassess its use when we are in a better operational position.
- Reports haven’t been started yet and will likely overlap into October.
3. UX Issues Updates
We’re meeting weekly with the curators to finalize scoping the issues. Official work on UXB-1 and UXB-3 will begin very soon.
You may have already seen the ongoing discussions regarding the unified address format by @jak-pan.
For UXB-2, UXB-5, and UXB-6, we estimate two more weeks to complete the scoping process.
Until then, we’ll try to keep you updated more proactively on X and Telegram!
4. Open Question: Should the UX Bounty leverage PRs to accelerate implementation?
Finally, we discussed the possibility for the UX Bounty to create PRs directly to help and accelerate teams in implementing the proposed changes.
Questions were raised regarding whether this should fall within the UX Bounty’s scope.
The consensus was to keep this as an option and propose it to teams when relevant, leading to three possible scenarios:
- The team doesn’t want to implement anything.
- The team wants to handle the implementation themselves.
- The team would like the UX Bounty to assist with implementation by submitting a PR.
Please tell us your opinion/thoughts on this matter .
