Hey everyone, here are the new meeting minutes from our monthly OpenUX Call.
Find the previous meeting minutes:
1. Update on the UX Bounty
We have a 17 days of delay compared to our proposed timeline.
We have now proposed the curators, adding three new members to the set: Nova, Talisman, and DHNN.
We aim for the Bounty to be operational by the end of August.
Realistically, execution will start progressively in September, with some processes in place for executors to propose themselves for the Child bounties.
More information on this will be provided at that time.
Updated timeline
2. UX Issues - Update
We have completed the first round of prioritization for the UX issues. You can find the full list here.
We are in stage 3 of our process. Here’s a deeper dive into the ongoing process until executors are chosen for each issue:
- Define if the issue is a priority - Done
- Lay out the next steps - In progress
- Define the budget, roadmap, and milestones for resolving the issue - waiting for #2
While it’s still too early to provide a timeline for each issue or determine how many issues will be tackled simultaneously, we have started the ‘next steps’ for the existing issues.
Here’s an overview of the next steps for most of the issues.
Please note that these next steps have been discussed during the call. They haven’t been confirmed and can still change. If you have suggestions or recommendations, let us know in the comments or reach out
3. UX Backlog Cleaning
We are adding categories to each issue to bundle them into topics. They are subject to change over time as we progress.
Infrastructure
Everything Core & Fellowship related.
Cross-chain Interactions
Self explanatory.
Security and Prevention
For any preventative measures.
User Experience
For overall UX in the ecosystem.
4. Final Words
We have yet to decide which platform to use for project management, but we’ll make the decision by September when the execution phase starts.
