Hey everyone,
My name is Gabo from Hungary/EU, Polkadot Senior Ambassador.
My past six months of activity:
- Co-organized the CCTF yacht event in Dubai, which was also a Polkadot side event at Token 2049.
- Polkadot Hubs Collective member: I am currently working on opening the next physical Polkadot hub in Budapest for the Polkadot community.
- Constantly building the Polkadot Hungary Community with Vikk, Mildzsu, and Six, both in real life and on-chain:
-DAO: Co-created the Polkadot Hungary Community as a multisig.
-Staking: Established the Polkadot Hungary Nomination Pool 1 for the local community (Pool ID: 219).
-OpenGov: Actively participating in decision-making and representing the Polkadot Hungary Community on-chain. - Co-organized the Polkadot Championship Hackathon 2023 edition in December in Budapest.
- Co-organized multiple Polkadot meetups and workshops in Budapest and Dubai.
- Attended sub0 Bangkok alongside Mosaic Chain (upcoming Polkadot parachain), where I serve as an advisor as a Polkadot ambassador.
I truly believe that events like Decoded offer immense value in terms of networking and relationship-building. As an Ambassador, I see great potential in establishing meaningful connections with like-minded individuals, developers, and enthusiasts. These connections will not only benefit me personally but also enable me to better support and inspire my local community in Hungary.
Looking ahead, I am excited about continuing to establish Polkadot hubs globally and am a founding member of the Hub Collective Team.
