Unable to claim unstaked DOT in Trust Wallet

Hi,
As of today, I am unable to claim my DOT tokens and rewards that was unstaked back in April 2025 in my Trust Wallet. Everytime I tried to claim the tokens, it said insufficient DOT balance for gas fee. But my DOT balance is more than sufficient. I am also unable to send any DOT tokens as it said I have zero in my DOT balance.
(I have tested with a new Trust Wallet account and it seems there is no issues with sending and staking)

My address is below:
14RUyNGAXrtYopHg2HVEn1hSiiBkJBZMHYKXYBvFWVr4rynx

Here are the photos

So you can see, my account balance is 54.2216 DOT
Available is -853.9577 DOT
Claimable Rewards is 908.1793 DOT

Any help is greatly appreciated

If you import the same wallet (using mnemonic etc) into Nova wallet you should be able to control your staked amount.

I’m having the same issue, trust wallet and nova won’t give me access. I unstaked months ago and any amount i put in to either send swap or restake gives me invalid amount or error code. There’s way over the threshold to do any staking or transaction. If anyone has any info on this issue would be so great full for any insights. Thanks in advance

I have the same problem with the staking DOT , everything is wrong.
I can’t even take a screenshot to send to trust wallet support.
If someone gets a solution for this, please share.
Thanks

Trust Wallet uses a different derivation path, so it’s not as simple as pasting in your seed phrase or private key. But Juanma from the Support Team will be able to help them out.

If you’re experiencing the same issue I had, where you are unable to unstake your staked DOT via Trust Wallet due to an “insufficient balance” error, here’s how I resolved it.

Requirements:

  1. A PC
  2. The Nova wallet app installed on your mobile device

Steps to Unstake:

  1. On your PC, run the WalletConsole utility. To do this, ensure you have Docker installed on your PC. Follow the steps in this guide to import your wallet and obtain your wallet’s private key.
  2. Open the Nova wallet app on your mobile device. Use the “Raw seed” import method, paste the private key obtained in the previous step, and set the derivation path to “Edwards (ed25519, alternative)” (you can find the settings button in the top right corner of the private key input screen).

If you followed these steps correctly, you should have successfully imported your existing Polkadot wallet (created with TW). You will now be able to manage your staked DOT using the Nova wallet.

Hey hey, would like to also signal in this topic that we will release a UI in Nova Wallet that would allow import your Polkadot account from Trust Wallet.
Will keep everyone posted.
