A couple of years ago I staked approx. 140 DOT in my trust wallet. Since then, the min has been raised to 250. Trust wallet is borked - won’t let me un-stake even with balance to pay any related fees.
Has anyone successfully managed to resolve this issue ?
Not really sure if this is required but current validators are now P2P.org and SNZPool -1
@Brotherman6699, did you get any resolution from Trust Wallet? I’m currently going through the same issue, and unfortunately TW customer services is lacking greatly. I purchased enough to get me over the limit increase, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to add it to my already staked DOT.
I submitted a ticket, but evidently, the customer service didn’t read the explanation they asked for and simply replied with an article on how to stake DOT.
I reached out to Polkadot customer service prior to submitting my ticket with TW, they can see my DOT on subscan, but it’s purely an issue within TW.
Hopefully, you’ve worked through this and have some guidance.
I strongly recommend opening a new account in an ecosystem-native wallet like Nova, Talisman, or Subwallet, transferring your DOT to it from Trustwallet, and managing your tokens in the new eco-native wallet. Trust Wallet just doesn’t play nice with Polkadot, and I see many users having issues with it.
@mister_cole, I’d like to move it, but first I have to get TW to release it somehow. I have a feeling they want me to purchase another 250 DOT, but then my concern would be they would have it in two different staking options and say I still can’t take the original out.
Thanks @mister_cole , I by no means blame DOT for this, it is purely a TW issue. I was just hoping to find someone who’s worked through the issue with TW. TW’s customer service is all automated and replies with links to articles about basic staking and unstaking. It is unfortunate.
I have the same problem with the staked DOT. In the wallet it says that 20,611 tokens are available to me, but that is wrong, about 390 tokens should be available. When I want to istaking these 390 tokens again, I can’t do it and it says that there are not enough tokens, although there should be at least 390 of them.
The sum always says that the earnings will be 0, which is not correct. It’s totally the DOT’s fault here in the wallet. I can’t even take a screenshot, and I could do that 3 weeks ago, now I can’t.
So let’s say my balance shows -300 Dot, how many I have to purchase? And just need to send it to the wallet? Can you explain please exactly how you managed to solve the issue? thanks
Sure so I just bought the minimum stake-able amount - was 250 at the time but this is lower now I believe. I was then able to stake that amount then unstake the total balance.
