I’m attempting to compound rewards at Polkadot Staking Dashboard | Polkadot Staking (DOT) using a ledger. Everything works perfectly until after I sign the transaction I am met with a ‘cancelled’ notification (the transaction hasn’t gone through).
I’ve been trying this morning for an hour or so, approximately 10am GMT. I’m wondering if it’s a temporary issue with Polkadot or if it is something I have set-up incorrectly on the dashboard/ledger. The ledger has the latest update for the Polkadot app (100.0.8)
Hi @jazzd, the Staking Dashboard developers are aware of the issue you described and a fix will be deployed later today or tomorrow. You did nothing wrong, don’t worry

I’m happy to report that it it appears we’ve fixed the issue now. Apologies for the downtime, it was due to a metadata service giving incorrect metadata hashes. This service has now been discontinued in favour of a solution that can be done in-app to generate a metadata hash needed for the transaction.
Thanks for the reply, Ross. Everything has resolved.
One further query is as follows: this is the third post I have made to the forum and each time my personal email has been inundated with replies (replies that do not appear here on the forum) from various ‘people’ prompting me to open a support ticket via their unique link. Investigating these links leads me to believe they are not genuine and are highly likely an attempt to scam. Am I correct? If so, how can I get rid of these imposters (their actions are enough for me to consider leaving the Polkadot ecosystem entirely.
