I’m Jimmy, a Polkadot Senior Ambassador with more than two years of active contributions to our vibrant ecosystem. My journey has included running validator instances for Polkadot and Kusama and crafting high-quality educational content. But that’s just the beginning.
Today, I’m thrilled to introduce you to the newest initiative I decided to take - Polkadot Philosophy.
Objective
While several educational resources for Polkadot exist, none offer a holistic, sequential learning journey that begins with foundational topics like consensus mechanisms and advances to more sophisticated theories such as Blockspace over Blockchains or Execution Cores.
Polkadot Philosophy is established and designed to fill this unmet need.
Mission Statement
- Immediate Focus: To launch an inaugural educational series—EduSeries—that builds understanding from the ground up. It will cover the spectrum from Polkadot’s foundational elements, like the Consensus, Substrate framework, and Parachains, to advanced theories like Asynchronous Backing and Core Time Marketplaces.
- Long-Term Vision: To develop Polkadot Philosophy into a universally recognized, ‘common good’ educational platform that welcomes high-quality contributions from community members and thought leaders alike.

- Educate: To act as a one-stop, comprehensive educational resource that offers structured learning, catering to various competency levels within the Polkadot ecosystem.
