Hi everyone,
I’m Rob, and I’ve been following Polkadot since its early days. My background is in data interoperability and real-time mapping, where I’ve focused on bridging complex data systems to create actionable insights. One of my recent projects, FireMap.live, is a real-time fire mapping platform that integrates satellite hotspots and authoritative fire management data to support disaster response. It’s been a fun hobby, and I’m now exploring my next project.
I’m especially excited about the potential of JAM (Join-Accumulate Machine) on Polkadot. The introduction of leased core time is a game-changer, offering scalable and efficient access to network resources that could revolutionize how applications are deployed. The idea of building democratically elected AI within this framework is particularly fascinating to me. Combining geospatial intelligence with community-governed AI could unlock powerful tools for addressing global challenges, from disaster response to urban planning.
The concept of spatial smart contracts also intrigues me, as they align well with my expertise in geospatial data. While projects like Nodle initially explored this idea, I see a huge opportunity for innovation within Polkadot, especially with its focus on interoperability and decentralized governance.
If you’re working on or know of projects leveraging JAM, geospatial intelligence, IoT, or real-time data applications, I’d love to connect and see how we can collaborate. Together, I believe we can push the boundaries of what’s possible on Polkadot.
Looking forward to engaging with this growing community!
Cheers,
Rob
