Since our Twitter channel is recently focused on posting based philosophical takes, I think it would be advantageous to write about the emerging threat of low cost personalized deep fakes.
This threat has been active since a few years already, but with recent tech developments it’s becoming a theme that will enter the public consciousness.
This is an opportunity to position PoP as a counterweight to these developments.

I agree with what you mention. It’s important to start positioning PoP.
However, we don’t know how much longer it will take Parity and W3F to launch the product. I understand the launch is scheduled for late 2026, but it would be great if they started showing progressive advances to the community.
Gav presented a small demonstration at the Web3 Summit about what’s being built on Polkadot, but the complete information is not yet public. For now, only the tattoo part is known, and many people on X reject that type of verification. Although I personally like the concept because it has a cyberpunk style that I believe will see greater adoption in the future.
Let’s start educating people about Polkadot’s Proof of Personhood. We are at a stage where AI is growing rapidly, and I know there will be many protocols wanting to solve this problem of individuality and digital sovereignty.
