Polkadot House Buenos Aires: Connect - Collaborate - Create

More than a Conference: An Immersive Collaboration Experience

In November, Buenos Aires will become the global epicenter of blockchain innovation. However, between the intensity of Polkadot Decoded and Devconnect, opportunities for deep connections and real collaborations often get lost amid packed agendas and fleeting conversations.

What if there was a pre-conference space where the community could build trust, exchange perspectives, and accelerate projects before major events?

Our Proposal: Polkadot House BA

Space4Build has reserved an exclusive three-story mansion in the heart of Recoleta, Buenos Aires.

:date: From November 7th to 12th, ahead of the main conferences, this space will become a building camp and creative retreat for the Polkadot community.

A select group of 30 builders will have the opportunity to live, work, and build together, escaping distractions to immerse themselves in an environment designed for genuine collaboration.

Diversity as a Catalyst for Innovation

Diversity, following the fundamental essence of Polkadot, will be the cornerstone of this initiative. We believe that true innovation in Polkadot doesn’t emerge in a single place, but rather at the confluence of voices, backgrounds, and experiences.

Polkadot House BA seeks to embody this spirit, integrating:

â—Ź Representatives from the Web3 Foundation (W3F).

â—Ź Community leaders from Africa, the Americas, India, China, and Europe.

â—Ź Inclusion-focused collectives, such as HerDAO.

â—Ź Builders from several regions that represents a real inclussion experience.

This design isn’t just a list of names: it’s a strategy to generate real synergies and break down barriers.

Why is this coexistence important?

In a digital ecosystem, deep human connections are more valuable than ever. This experience seeks to:

â—Ź Foster trust and mutual respect, the foundation for sustainable collaborations.

● Promote the exchange of unique perspectives, where a developer from India can contribute solutions that a European builder hadn’t considered.

● Catalyze unexpected projects through informal interactions—whether in the kitchen, on a walk around the neighborhood, or in an impromptu coworking session.

Unique Value for Builders and Developers

Polkadot House BA is designed to maximize individual and collective impact:

â—Ź :handshake: Direct collaboration: Solve technical challenges in real time alongside W3F members, parachain teams, and community leaders.

â—Ź :globe_showing_europe_africa: Deep connections: Build genuine relationships that transcend conferences and strengthen the global fabric of Polkadot.

â—Ź :rocket: Strategic advantage: Arriving at Decoded and Devconnect with established partnerships, ongoing discussions, and clarity on the trends to prioritize.

:sparkles: Connect - Collaborate - Create

Polkadot House BA is more than a physical space: it’s an opportunity to ignite new ideas, build trust, and strengthen the global Polkadot network.

What do you think? How can we, together, make this experience a success that makes a difference in our community?

Holá @Space4Build , it seems you’re posting for the first time. Can you share more background info about your team? I’m mostly interested in the marketing side of your proposal and the program at the house. I understand you want to foster community, but so far it reads like a community-Airbnb proposal.

I’d see lots of potential if this would be a curated experience for developers and to bring in folks from the ETH ecosystem to meet Polkadot folks.

Hello @DotDotAPe, this is our first collective post, but we’ve been contributing to the ecosystem as a community for a year and a half by organizing, participating in, and collaborating with conferences, hackathons, workshops, meetups, and corporate activities in the Americas, Asia, and Europe.

You can find more information on all our digital profiles (X, IG, Github) like Space4Build.

Thank you for your interest in the marketing aspect. The house seeks to prioritize a great collaborative environment for the Polkadot communities and, above all, for those who have or want to create projects. With a strong focus on coexistence between developers from various countries without external pressures from speaking engagements or hackathons beore the main activities.

For five days, we will create a deep collaborative environment where people can strengthen bonds of collaboration, support, and collective advice. Primarily for people with experience in Polkadot technology, we are also open to special invitations to people who can contribute their knowledge and experience to the group of participants.

Sounds nice! I’d recommend 9-14 since just after EthLatam and before Sub0 Symbiosis.

I’d like to visit if this gets done!
