TL;DR:

  • If you are a nominator use the PAPI Staking optimizer, which is not susceptible to the “commission flipping” tricks that some validators use. It also makes it very easy for you to keep taps on the best APY performing validators, and allows you to select as few validators as you want to.

  • If you are an extension, wallet or a DApp developer: consider using the PAPI Staking SDK, to make sure that you display accurate and relevant info to your users.
