ParaLink – XCM-based asset exchange hub

Hello, community members! I’m Bear Wang from the RingDAO ecosystem. Here’s a concise overview of ParaLink, our beta asset exchange hub built on XCM within Polkadot parachains. We recognize that XCM-based asset dApps like Hydration and BeamSwap already exist, offering robust features and sizable user bases. Our goal is to fully leverage Polkadot’s architecture, allowing ParaLink to automatically support parachains and assets that meet simple requirements. Once those conditions are met, your parachain and its asset pairs are supported automatically, without any manual steps. This approach streamlines integration and enhances asset exchange efficiency for everyone. We believe this is the ultimate goal for XCM technology.

• GitHub repo: GitHub - ringecosystem/paralink: An XCM-based asset exchange hub that automatically supports assets from all Polkadot parachains.

Currently, ParaLink supports 7 parachains (including Polkadot, Moonbeam, Polkadot AssetHub, Bifrost, Hydration, Polimec and Astar) that meet these requirements. We are waiting for more parachains to upgrade their runtime to support XcmRuntimeApi, which is required for ParaLink. Once they’re ready, we will support them automatically.

I’m excited to share this news and look forward to your feedback. If you have questions or suggestions while using ParaLink, feel free to reach out. I’m always here to help.

Being ambassador for RingDAO I may be bias, but I would always welcome infrastructure that automaticly supports Polkadot parachains and its asset pairs, without having to do it manualy.

I hope parachains do asap upgrade their runtime to reach requirements.

I also belive Polkadot needs strong parachain alliance that builds together and pushes forward one another. As imho among other huge chains it is already very competitive for users.

One question could this be applicable to Kusama parachains as well if/when Kusama ecosystem runs wild again?

Due to limited resource and time, we currently only support the parachains in the Polkadot networks. Let’s see the feedback from the community, if there is a strong demand for the parachains in the Kusama network, we’ll consider adding support for them in the future.
