Introduction: Aspiring Polkadot Developer | Learning Rust & Substrate on Chromebook & Termux

Hi everyone,

I am Mughni, an aspiring developer from Indonesia, and I am excited to officially introduce myself to the Polkadot community.

Currently, I am deeply focused on learning Rust and Substrate. My setup is a bit unique: I am doing all my development and learning through a Chromebook (Linux) and Termux on Android. I believe that limited hardware shouldn’t be a barrier to contributing to the future of Web3.

My Focus & Goals:

  • Security First: I am a strong advocate for security. I manage my setup using BIP39 air-gapped cold wallets to ensure my transactions and keys remain offline.

  • Fellowship Path: My long-term goal is to contribute to the core protocol and eventually join the Polkadot Fellowship as Rank 0 (Candidate).

  • Continuous Learning: I am documenting my journey and code progress on my GitHub.

You can find my work and track my progress here: https://github.com/mughnisyarif123-commits

I am looking forward to connecting with other developers, learning from the best, and eventually making my first meaningful contributions to the Polkadot SDK.

Best regards,

Mughni
