How Can We Integrate Cryptocurrency into Our Daily Lives?

Recently, I came up with an idea of how we can popularize cryptocurrency among the masses. We, as humans, are used to evaluating and measuring things in units that are familiar to us. When it comes to sizes, we use centimeters, meters, or inches. When it comes to money, we try to equate the value of the currency we hold to something we understand. However, this is not what I want to focus on now. I’d like to explain why we should start a new chapter in the history of cryptocurrency in our world.

Today, some of the leading currencies in the world are the dollar, euro, and yuan. These numbers and their significance are clear to most people. Even gold is now valued less than these currencies, although it used to be the other way around.

Currently, cryptocurrency is in a state of uncertainty. People who haven’t delved into this sphere often feel confused because this new type of asset storage is unfamiliar to them. Additionally, it’s difficult to determine the value of any given token. On top of that, the field is rife with scams, and it’s unclear whether something is legal or not or if you’re making the right decision. That’s where my idea comes in!

Why don’t we start displaying the equivalent value of prices in tokens on supermarket price tags? Price tags change daily anyway, and a shopper would be surprised to see prices displayed in tokens since it’s something they’ve never seen before. This action could spark heightened interest in cryptocurrency and our token, generating profits for many people within our ecosystem.

Important Aspect: If this idea is implemented, it’s essential to start with large supermarket chains and roll it out in multiple countries simultaneously, ideally on the same day.

I like the intent, not sure about the method.

Something more tangible and useful, to me, would be for large supermarkets to accept crypto payments. Now that would get the ball rolling imho.

The problem is that supermarkets are not interested in accepting cryptocurrency for products. Their operations are driven by demand: they are willing to sell for any currency if it allows them to make further transactions. However, at the moment, cryptocurrency does not appeal to them because it is difficult to use for paying for other goods and services. I propose a solution aimed at integrating cryptocurrency into the masses to generate demand and make it more attractive for stores.

I agree.

And let’s also not forget that even in the unlikely event supermarkets got cryptos’ marketing funds to price goods in said crypto, these days consumers are overwhelmed by frequent adjustments (due to inflation) of fiat and can’t even keep track of that.

Seeing the wild fluctuations in a crypto currency which you don’t even hold in your wallet would not get much attention - people wouldn’t even want to look at those.

This problem is related to moneyness and the OP should read about that subject. Goods get denominated in a currency, and so first you need a token to become a currency - not the other way around.
