The Hackathon Impact Report 2025-2026 is out!

We believe that the standard hackathon model is flawed, merely scratching the enormous potential that hackathon teams can achieve.

In 2024, WebZero introduced a rigorous, milestone-based prize structure that empowers and challenges teams alike. This was first tested at the Web3 Summit 2024 Blockspace Symmetry hackathon and again at the Web3 Summit 2025 Blockspace Synergy hackathon. After a second year, WebZero is proud to present the true impact in full detail, cementing this methodology.

This report serves as a blueprint for how ecosystems can collaborate to establish clear developer incentives, and milestone bounties can dramatically improve the retention metric.
