The two following RFCs for XCM have entered their Final Comment Period:

The period will last 10 calendar days, after which the RFCs will be either accepted, rejected, or explicitly postponed for a future date. Please make your comments on them now.

The FCP is now over for both of these RFCs, and they have been accepted.
The next steps are modifying the living document and implementing them as new XCMv4 instructions.
