My name is Josiah. This Discussion is to have a Polkadot booth at the Australian Crypto Convention 2024.

The Australian Crypto Convention is the largest crypto event in the Southern Hemisphere, organized annually in Australia, where the crypto and blockchain industry’s investors and decision-makers connect to learn, exchange ideas, network, and shape the industry.

The Australian Crypto Convention is the meeting place for entrepreneurs, investors, institutions, builders, traders, VCs, global media, and those with a strong interest in the crypto and blockchain industry.

The purpose of this proposal is to start getting people from Australasia real-life exposure to the builders of Polkadot. Currently, the following teams have a base or employees residing in Australasia:

  • Subquery
  • Metaverse Network
  • DeStore
  • Oak Network
  • Talisman

With neighbouring countries having the following:

  • Astar (Japan)
  • Mandala Chain (Indonesia)
  • SubWallet

Should this proposal pass, the SubQuery team would be happy to come from New Zealand to join the event and help represent Polkadot.
