Hello!
As you may or may not know, Talisman is developing a business-friendly dashboard for the multisig pallet, named Signet. It’s been funded by the Polkadot treasury and the initial version is in development. You might see a teaser preview during Nipsey’s talk at Polkadot Decoded on Thursday… * wink *
In any case, we would like to understand current multisig usage a bit better in order to plan out the trajectory of the project, so I’d like to ask for your help.
Over the course of the last six months, and perhaps before, proxies have gained a lot of mindshare as a solution for teams looking for a more gnosis safe-like experience in Polkadot (i.e. the ability to switch signers without losing the outward-facing address). At the same time, there are downsides, such as the proxy address functions only on a single chain, which presents a danger of lost funds.
We are interested to know how teams are CURRENTLY managing multisig funds, specifically for treasury management and financial operations. Do you currently use a proxy with your multisig to enable changing out the signing threshold or set of signers? Or are you currently just using the standard multisig pallet?

We’d also love to chat to teams who manage their treasuries or their financial operations on top of the multisig pallet today: Calendly - William
Note - we do know that efforts to build a better multisig are in progress, including both Saturn and an ink-based gnosis-style multisig and are eagerly awaiting their arrivals. But for now, we’d love to learn about current usage and choices that teams have made.
Thank you all!
