Polkadot. Products for people

This post is just to highlight Polkadot’s new website.

For months, we discussed the changes that should be proposed.

Parity and W3F are showing signs of the direction to take.

I find the new clear and concise narrative included on the website very interesting.

It’s not just an aesthetic and image change, but it also sets out the path to follow.

I can’t wait to see what’s coming!

I do also really appreciate the new direction.

  • Less bullshit.

  • More hardcore/cypherpunk.

  • Cleaner.

  • Not techy, anyone can understand without having the need to know complex blockchain specific architecture knowledge.

  • Amount of info reduced to the essential (wallet, bridges, protocols, gov tools).

You have to note it’s also a rebranding.

  • New logo.
  • New font (unbonded is gone).

What about the DOT token logo in the future?

My only critics would be about bridges, not mentioning Turtle is a huge miss.

I believe that change is a clear first step in a specific direction.

No more Decentralized Nodes, closure of bounties, more transparency, more alignment with JAM. It looks promising.

Again, I hope to see more information soon.

I    the messaging slide! All the reasons I have been trying to help in Polkadot! Very well done!!!

suggestive fun imput- Over time I would like to see the black have emerging stars. I understand the beautiful message the black brings, some glimmers of light over time could be a poetic nod of sorts.

I am also very pleasantly surprised with the new website, very cypherpunk :star_struck:

The message is clear and direct. Simple language, easy to understand and above all back to the true reasons why we are here.

Love the emphasis on:

  • Decentralization
  • Ownership
  • Permissionless - and the tools to start contributing!
  • Made by humans
  • Tech for humans
  • Tech than cannot be shut down
  • Privacy

Also, the simplicity of the v0 screams to me:
“It’s a new beginning, there’s so much to do, let’s go! Let’s do it!”

Nicely done ! It’s becoming what’s I sign in for and more easy to use for non tech people . That’s amazing news !

Curious about the overall product roadmap!
