There’s been a lot of talk about OpenGov lately - mostly skewed to complaints and general brainstorming of re-structuring the entire system - imo this is not the most helpful path forward.
It is your right as an individual to voice your concerns over X, in TG - wherever you feel necessary - but after a while, it just becomes a infinite echo of the same issues.
There are people working on OpenGov accountability frameworks - it’s a tough ask - and it’s in the works by the likes of OpenGov watch / tracker.
There are updates consistently taking place to make proposal requirements more strict and informative by Polkassembly & SS
There are ecosystem agents who are reporting transparently and delivering on their projects. - https://x.com/PolkadotAssured/status/1816793087810629731
Action is the only results based process we have and progress is being made.
I’d like to point out one possible scenario of which i’d like to see more of - and this is something @shawntabrizi alluded to - (paraphrasing here) -
Which is that OpenGov is here to reward those who return value to the ecosystem.
What does this mean to you and me as individuals?
It means get out there and sell.

What i’m trying to point out is that there is a pattern here - one that shows real interest in Polkadot and it’s subsidiaries.
A real opportunity for anyone to reach out to other companies, protocols, existing apps and pitch Polkadot - especially with coretime launching - anyone can be a part of the. network.
There are opportunities for anyone to get out there and sell Polkadot and in return, request for a reasonable compensation from the Treasury for their time, work and intelligent grit.
If we had as many people getting dirty in the field, emailing, cold calling, making connections and setting up partnerships as we did endlessly complaining on X - we’d be in a better place.
We aren’t too late either -
The Treasury spend exposure shifted a lot of attention to what is happening here.
Let’s take advantage of it.
Hats off to those who are already in the trenches.
Personally, would like to see more of it.
