Next Steps for the Ambassador Program

I have written a proposal for how I would want to see the ambassador program evolve:

Looking for feedback on the HackMD, and to continue the conversation here about the key ideas which are different from the current Ambassador Program Manifesto.

Some of the key changes:

  • An explicit meta-management / secretary role which is salaried.
  • More clarity on the expectations of a salaried role. (could probably be improved too)
  • No limit to number of ambassadors at any rank.
  • Objective measurements on how ambassadors should qualify to be promoted.
  • Ambassador payments focus on work done and outcomes achieved.
