I have written a proposal for how I would want to see the ambassador program evolve:
Looking for feedback on the HackMD, and to continue the conversation here about the key ideas which are different from the current Ambassador Program Manifesto.
Some of the key changes:
- An explicit meta-management / secretary role which is salaried.
- More clarity on the expectations of a salaried role. (could probably be improved too)
- No limit to number of ambassadors at any rank.
- Objective measurements on how ambassadors should qualify to be promoted.
- Ambassador payments focus on work done and outcomes achieved.
