Hello everyone! Today, I’m sharing a new update on the progress of my proposal to make information about the Bounties more accessible and transparent for the entire Polkadot community.
This time, I’d like to present a simple landing page that I believe will be useful for anyone entering the ecosystem, as well as for those who are already part of it but prefer to view Bounty information in this format, without having to search across different sites.
Additionally, I’ve created a profile on X so the previously shared PDF can evolve into a more dynamic space, where updates, curators’ reports, changes in curator teams, new Bounties, success stories, and helpful information for newcomers to the ecosystem can be shared. This includes content explaining the purpose of the Bounties, their uses, and how they benefit the growth of Polkadot.
Along the way, I identified some points that I’d like to share, hoping it may encourage those involved to provide more information about the Bounties they lead (which the WFC 1254 promotes).
For example, Bounty #27 currently lacks curators, and I’m not sure if it will be operational in the future.
Bounty #39 has yet to share updates, despite being a Bounty that I consider highly important for the ecosystem’s development.
Many Bounties only provide the initial document submitted for approval in OpenGov. Personally, I think this is a missed opportunity. Each Bounty should have, at minimum, a dedicated article similar to this Parity article, where they clearly outline what the Bounty is about, what it covers and doesn’t cover, the payment, contact information, and other relevant details, all in one article.
That’s it for now! A quick reminder that the following are active:
