I’d like to propose a discussion about the future designation of Head Ambassadors. As the position will be rewarded, don’t you think that candidates should satisfy some minimum criteria? Can you imagine a paid job in a company without minimum requirements, conditions? Do you have example of such situations in the real life? I’ve been thinking about a basic proposal to share about this, and I’d like to hear your thoughts not only on the content, but also on how it could be implemented.
Since everyone will have to go through an election anyways, it is this very election process that shows whether the candidate meets the minimum requirements (as defined by the electorate).
In the US the requirements for running for US president are famously minimal, and include being a natural-born US citizen at least 35 years of age. Anything else is subject to the electorate.
For this HA program, I guess the actual minimum requirement is to have a Polkadot address.
I’ve made a complete review of the technical fellowship functioning on which we should be based. There was a first list validated by the council. Why should it be any different here, without a minimum to justify? It doesn’t make sense to me.
We would have some explanation about this.
