OG Tracker automatically detects and enables your eligible addresses that are linked to approved referenda.
Inside The Self-Report
On the sidebar, you can see all your approved proposals listed by their REF #Number.
Additionally you can view exclusive data related to your connected address.
- The total number of your approved proposals
- The total amount of DOT received by this address
- The overall status of your approved referenda (Delivered, In Progress, Flagged)
Choose the REF you wish to provide report for and 3 new tabs will appear:
- My Report
- My Tasks
- Submission Log
Let’s break them down:
My Report
This is the most crucial section, as it is the primary way to provide a report or update on the overall status of your proposal.
Breakdown:
- Title: Specify the type of your report or update (Monthly/Bi-Monthly, Quarterly, Milestone,Final report)
- Report URL: Provide any relevant link of your report (Google Docs, Github,PDF,etc.) You can add more than one links if needed
- Comment: Share any comments relevant to your report or important notes that will help us validate your submission faster and more efficiently.
- Choose Files: Upload pictures, PDFs, and any other file types you would like to share.
Note: Always remember to save your report to ensure it is successfully submitted!
My tasks
While this section may be optional, providing individual task reports or updates is considered good practice and will help accelerate our tracking process and execution.
- Request an Edit: You can request an edit for a single task if you notice an error, misinformation, or need to apply any changes. Our team will review your request and take appropriate actions.
- Add Deliverables: Submit an update or report for a specific task. Describe the current status of the task (e.g., delivered, delayed) and be sure to include any relevant links that verify your claims. The OG Tracker team will validate your report and apply any necessary changes.
Note: After performing any of these actions, make sure to click the Save button to ensure your updates are successfully submitted. You can verify that everything has been submitted correctly by checking the Submission Log.
Submission Log
Review your activity history, including reports, updates or edits submitted through both the My Report and My Tasks sections, organized in chronological order.
This helps us and the proposer to keep a track record on the submissions during the whole duration of the proposal.
Note: At this stage only the submitter and the OG Tracker team have access to view this information.
Key Consideration for Report Submission
- Be accurate and concise: Clearly explain the current status of your proposal
- Avoid altering original context: Use the same language in your report as was it provided in the original proposal to avoid confusion and ensure clarity.
- Provide proof of work links: Attach all relevant links or other supported documents that demonstrate the validity of your claims.
- Share your metrics: Include any metrics that demonstrate the results of your proposal.
We invite the entire Polkadot community to start using the Direct Self-Report and share their thoughts and constructive feedback with us!
