Decentralized Nodes - Introduction: UTSA validator

:waving_hand: Hello all

I represent a UTSA validator and are currently applying to join the second cohort of decentralized nodes and would like to hear your feedback.

UTSA validator is actively contributing to the development of Polkadot, Cosmos, Solana, and EVM ecosystems. I am currently checking out numerous networks on mainnet including Polkadot (DN), Kusama (DN), Dymension, Quicksilver, Dora, Nibiru, Realio, Solana and more.

Our mission is not only to ensure the security of the networks my audit, but also to create a thriving ecosystem through technical support, education, and community engagement.

Additional information:

  • Develop Local Communities
  • Maintain an Informative Blog: My run a vibrant blog and community, offering technical guides and articles (a WIKI in Russian) on the Cosmos ecosystem and other blockchains. More details here: Blog.
  • Run Signature Campaigns: My organize signature campaigns on crypto forums to promote projects. Learn more: CryptoTalk Profile.
  • Provide Infrastructure Services: Beyond validation, my run IBC, provide RPC, API, Snapshots, Statesync, Addrbook, and Explorer services. My also maintain high uptime, write technical manuals, and support the community. More info: UTSA Services.

Each of our servers is integrated with a comprehensive monitoring and alert system, including Node-exporter, Grafana, Prometheus, and Alertmanager (here’s my guide for the community: Node-exporter + Grafana + Prometheus + Alertmanager | Services). If any deviations from normal operations occur, such as low disk space or increased RAM usage, I receive notifications via Telegram and/or Discord.

For monitoring Substrate nodes, I use the SubVT bot, which reports all changes. Additionally, I developed my own script to track node blocks and compare them with blocks from public RPCs.

To distribute rewards, we use the Crunch bot, which checks rewards daily.

My look forward to long-term participation in the DN program and ultimately achieving self-sufficiency in being in the active network.
