CadaNews Polkadot Articles

Hello everyone,

At CadaNews, we deeply appreciate the Polkadot network and its vision. We’ve recently updated our article on the best Polkadot wallets, featuring Ledger, Talisman, Nova, SubWallet, and Fearless Wallet. Each wallet has been carefully tested to ensure users have the best options available.

We’d love to hear your feedback on how we could further improve the article!

Additionally, we’ve also published a popular article on staking DOT via Ledger Live, which may be useful for those looking to maximize their holdings safely.

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Best,
Ivan Kovac / CadaNews Team

In 2026, for our Best Polkadot Wallets guide, we decided to focus exclusively on non-custodial software wallets. The goal was to highlight options that give users full control over their private keys, while still offering a smooth experience for staking, managing DOT, and interacting with the Polkadot ecosystem.

We excluded custodial solutions and exchange wallets, since they don’t provide true ownership of funds and are less aligned with how most Polkadot users engage with staking and governance. Hardware wallets were also not the focus of this list, as we wanted to keep the comparison specific to software-based, everyday-use wallets.

Our selection prioritizes wallets that:

  • Support DOT staking and nomination

  • Provide access to governance features

  • Work well across Polkadot and parachains

  • Offer a clean and reliable user experience

The idea is to give both beginners and more experienced users a clear overview of the best wallets they can actually use day-to-day within the Polkadot ecosystem.
