Asset Hub Migration 2025

Is this the case for subwallet users as well?

I too have kusama staked but in a subwallet account, am i just waiting for subwallet to update its system?

Thank you @joyce Please can you share a probable timeline wheb these issues will be resolved?

Secondly, one admin reached out to me with the attached screenshot/steps. Is this genuine or authentic and reliable means for recovery? Will I not lose my assets or be exploited?

Hi @Jazzy9 - This user is not an admin, please dont listen to any instructions given to them!

Your funds are safe and can be seen On-Chain, the team are in touch with TrustWallet to update their Endpoints, there no action for you to take. Thanks for raising this issue!

Anyone who messages you privately is a scammer, @Jazzy9

If they are willing to help, they should do so publicly. That is quite obviously a scam (nobody can “rectify balances”, nobody handles multiple wallets like that, etc.)

It is the case for all wallets, including Subwallet.

You can always migrate your Trust Wallet to Nova and not worry about the provider not making timely updates. https://x.com/NovaWalletApp/status/1956368681589526547

Thanks for the support when the trust wallet will update this chain?

My kusama balance in my nova wallet is also zero due to this migration I don’t know how to access my funds

Hey @Ashod, Andy from SubWallet here.

SubWallet fully supports the Asset Hub migration. This means that if you have staked KSM on Kusama Relay Chain, after the migration, you should be able to view the staked funds on Kusama Asset Hub, with the network enabled by default in the wallet.

Hi,
It’s already the third day after KSM Asset Hub Migration but unfortunately I see zero balances on both relay and hub account. It is Nova Wallet and subscans also shows nothing.

Hub account: HnmbpHmhUtnu9FRHw4AGxUxipU4fFngrsUhBXahjmWz7f7m
Relay account: DjGk5BFZwrUjgWh1BBx63Wua4K3ZyVKsYuBpwWFr1TLqChK

So it looks I lost some KSM 450. I also have DOT staked and afraid the migration as well will fall through for me the way it is for KSM.

What can go wrong there? Any help would be much appreciated.

@SL7575 your KSMs are safe on the AH, you can find them directly on subscan!

Yes, thanks, I finally see it. But in my Nova Wallet there is nothing. So I cannot have access to these coins. Interestingly, Nova shows this address as still belonging to Kusama Relay. Any ideas how to fix it?

Please open a ticket on the Nova App: Settings → Get support by email
Or send them directly an email: support@novawallet.io

Yes. Finally found what was the problem. My account was the one with a changed secret. Default is “shared”. One should migrate it manually. Did it with json file. Newly found exception to “just sit, wait and do nothing”))). Hope it will help those who have the same situation.

Hi, as a node operator running polkadot mainnet relay chain node, can you guide on what preparations or upgrades to which versions I need to do during migration time. From high level I understand I would need to run an assethub node, but I would still require relay chain nodes correct, any guide for node operators
