Questions on JAMKB Distribution, Pricing and DOT Value Capture

Just adapt the parachains crowdloan model and you have your answer

The only reason the JAM network can be completed—including development team rewards and developer conferences—is entirely because of DOT investors, without any external financing. Therefore, JAMKB should not have an independent pricing mechanism, which would legally constitute fraud.

I suggest proceeding exactly the same way as Agile Coretime: simple and clear. No need to complicate things, and no need for a separate acquisition method.

I agree and believe there is a way to do it. Would be great to get the communities thoughts on this.

I think the entire JAMKB approach is flawed. It would be better to establish a central entity, such as a corporation (can be AI), to provide services for the JAM protocol. This entity could be funded, owned, and governed by the DOT DAO. In this way, accountability can be enforced, and the problems associated with decentralized service provision, particularly those that lead to the tragedy of the commons, can be avoided. Please do not create another decentralized solution to address a decentralized failure.

Is this satire?

Do we still have any project in Polkadot that would use DOT as the utility token? I want to support that project

Yes, with DOT I would.
