What other projects do you think are Polkadot’s major competitors and what are the pros and cons points they got? (If there’s an existing thread or post, I’d appreciate a link).
Do you think that Gavin’s 2.0 declaration would change that answer?

The ecosystem has an insane amount of talent, brilliant developers, motivated contributors and an inspiring mission and philosophy.
As a connected ecosystem of sovereign network economies, Polkadot’s only major competitor is itself.
The only challenge facing the assembled talent is the ability to escape the collective delusion of CoinMarketCap.
