Polkadot Solidity - OpenGuild's 2026 Campaigns in Partnership with Web3 Foundation

Hello Polkadot Community,

I’m Cris from OpenGuild, and I’m excited to share our latest announcement here on the forum.

As we kick off 2026 with Polkadot’s smart contracts going live on January 27th, OpenGuild is leading the charge in empowering builders across APAC through our Polkadot Hub Codecamp and Hackathon series.

Key Highlights from Our Recent Update:

  • Codecamp Tour Launch: We’re hitting the ground running with hands-on workshops in key locations like Singapore, India, Vietnam, Philippines, China, Malaysia. These sessions cover Polkadot Hub architecture, EVM smart contracts, cross-chain apps via XCM, and dev tools like Foundry, Hardhat, and Scaffold DOT.

  • Polkadot Hub Hackathon 2026: Our 6-week online hackathon from Feb 15 to Mar 24, with a $30,000 prize pool, with the amazing support from Web3Foundation, along with other key partners (like Event Bounty) and local communities. Tracks are diverse but we focus on acquiring more DevEx feedbacks, and exploring what’s possible with EVM and PVM.

Through these initiatives, OpenGuild aims to onboard new builders into the Polkadot ecosystem, foster innovative applications, and accelerate the adoption of solidity smart contracts on Polkadot.

We project to generate verifiable on-chain contributions from participants, unlock new opportunities, acquire significant DevEx insights that we can not imagine by ourself and strengthen community-driven development, ultimately contributing to a more robust and interconnected Web3 landscape.

We invite support from Polkadot community stakeholders, members, and partners – whether through participation, mentorship, or collaboration. Your involvement will help amplify our impact and shape the future of decentralized innovation.

Nice Cris! I’ll check it out. Let me know if you need anything added to scaffold-dot. I just pushed some commits that put the REVM vs PVM duality topic front and center in the app; and provided some easy configuration commands to switch from one to the other.
