Hi,
I want to throw my two cents into the mix. I am not a UX/UI, but I can only talk about the things I know of, and that is primarily identity. I think getting non-crypto users into the ecosystem safely is super important. I understand that this can be difficult when coins are involved. Moving them slowly and showing that there is a way to do such a thing safely is important.
@Whisker17 I think this can be taken a step further. A DID technology can handle all those specific features, plus more. A simple DID can be extended, as suggested by @julomat. As the user begins their journey into our eco-system, they slowly can unlock the full potential of a DID.
The DID can provide a unique user name that is human-readable and tied to addresses from all parts of the ecosystem. It also features the ability to have credentials such as the social media accounts you have described tied to it. I believe the feature set you talk of is provided by DIDs, but the user can slowly integrate and progress into a busy and noisy ecosystem at their pleasure.
@lolmcshizz I agree that the solution would provide more, and the identity can link accounts and add your social media accounts. For example, the DID has service endpoints that you can attach to the document that can be used as a look-up. These could be your socials etc.
I would love to see grill.chat uses DIDs as a way to identify the users, as you can do some great stuff with that. You’d be able to have encrypted chat, allow/disallow lists for users and access control chats with credentials. These can be great for clubs and DOAs. Combining the technologies and utilising them in the app would be insane.
Overall, utilising the different chains’ amazing features would be amazing. I think that is the purpose of the ecosystem, and utilising Apillion and Nova team are always welcome. They continue to provide great tech and integrations to the ecosystem.
Thank you for taking the initiative and focusing on these non-crypto users.
Kind Regards,
Dudley Needham
Love it
