Introducing FintraDex — a non-custodial orderbook DEX on Polkadot

Hello Polkadot Community!

My name is Zafer, the CEO of FintraDex.

We would like to introduce FintraDex to the community and of course open the door to new collaboration and partnerships.

We’re a small, bootstrapped team with an approach to ship incrementally and communicate transparently with the wider ecosystem and userbase.

Below is a brief of what we are doing, what’s live, what’s next, and where working together would help.

Who we are

Core team:

  • Zafer (CEO) – over 20 years in cloud, networks, and cybersecurity and early exposure to crypto infra. Track record of turning complex systems into trusted, usable products.

  • Luke (COO) – Fintech operator and co-founder of Volt Bank (Australia’s first fully licensed neobank). Brings experience in scaling financial infrastructure, building licensed institutions, and working with regulators.

  • Wasif (Head of Blockchain Architecture) – Substrate and Polkadot engineer with deep knowledge in cryptography and distributed systems.

  • Sahir (Lead Platform Dev) – Seasoned platform developer with extensive experience in Finance including development of Australian Government carbon tokenisation project and ANZ Stablecoin.

  • Thomas (Head of Partnerships & Community) – Experienced Sales and Business development professional.

We also count with the support and advice of Georgi, Matthias, and Luke, some of whom are active members of the community.

What we’re building

FintraDex is a non-custodial orderbook DEX on Polkadot.

Our mission is to bring secure trading to Polkadot whilst preserving a frictionless user experience that is private. To achieve this we will use ZK proofs, on-chain orderbook, and smart contracts with communication across the relay chain and cross chain.

This approach removes the complexity barriers whilst ensuring trades remain private, encouraging increased adoption.

We’re rolling it out in phases so people can use it early while we raise the assurance bar over time.

Version 1 — FintraLite. DEX aggregation with an off-chain matching engine for speed; users keep custody. This phase is about nailing the basics as we continue to iterate and improve alongside user adoption.

Version 2 — ZK-verified matching. Bring in RISC Zero proofs so cryptographic verification gates state changes, with settlement on our Substrate runtime. We’ll run an independent security audit before mainnet.

Tech at a glance

  • Substrate-based parachain: chain/runtime code in public repos; on-chain activity visible in Statescan.

  • Upgradeable runtime: FRAME pallets with on-chain upgradability so we can iterate without disruptive hard forks.

  • Non-custodial by design: users retain control of funds; the matcher never holds user assets (Phase 1 and beyond).

  • Matching architecture: off-chain matching in Phase 1 for speed; ZK-verified matching to gate state changes in Phase 2.

  • ZK stack: RISC Zero (zkVM) planned for proof generation/verification.

  • Proof scaling: leveraging Boundless as part of our proof/execution scaling path (as documented in our repo).

  • Interoperability: Hyperbridge integration in progress to expand cross-chain connectivity.

  • EVM surface: expose an EVM-facing interface while keeping a Substrate-native core, so partners can integrate with familiar tooling where it helps.

Roadmap

  • Phase 1 - Laying the foundations - Blockchain Testnet on Paseo & Platform Beta testing (In Progress)

  • Phase 2 - FintraLite (V1) public launch alongside Mainnet launch. (Late Q4 2025)

  • Phase 3 - V2 upgrade with ZK stack. (2026)

What’s live right now

  • Parachain on Paseo (testnet)

  • Chain/runtime repos are public

  • Technical Architecture Whitepaper and Economic Litepaper are in the repo

  • FintraLite testing endpoint (invite-only via drop codes):

  • Hyperbridge integration - In Testing phase.

Where to meet us

We’ll be at Sub0 Symbiosis, Buenos Aires (Nov 14–16, 2025) and hosting a Day-2 brunch on Sat, Nov 15. If you’re around, drop in and say hi.

How to get involved

We’d like to connect with other projects, parachains, and developers, especially those working in DeFi, cross-chain solutions and ZK frameworks.
If you want to try FintraLite, DM for a drop code. For integrations or a deeper technical chat, reply here and we’ll follow up.

Great work from the Fintra team, this DEX would absolutely solve a lot of problem for polkadot users.
