Hey Polkadot community!
Yesterday, we submitted our proposal after two weeks of in-depth discussions with you, gathering valuable insights to shape it around what the community truly values. We’ve integrated your feedback directly into the proposal description, and now we’re excited to hear your thoughts on the final initiative.
There you can find our Pitch Summary, Full Pitch Deck and transparent Financial Overview (Currently, the forum limits us to posting only two links at a time).
We introduced our initial concept at the AAG session on October 24 and will dive deeper at our next session on November 14. We’d love to have you join us there! Meanwhile, please feel free to share any feedback or thoughts below — your input will help us make this proposal as impactful as possible!
We’re requesting $300K USDT for a Creative Tech Accelerator on Polkadot
Here’s our Video Pitch
Now, a bit about who we are:
Fuelarts, a Creative Tech startup accelerator active since 2019, specializes in blockchain ecosystems, whether building them from the ground up or amplifying existing ones. In 2023, we ran a successful accelerator for Tezos, onboarding 10 new dApp startups. For this proposal, we’re partnering with BitBasel, a leader in Web3 and Digital Art, to bring their expertise to Polkadot.
Through our analysis of Polkadot’s creative startup ecosystem, we noticed an over-saturation of marketplaces and a shortage of innovative solutions in areas like production, management, and analytics. We also identified exciting cross-industry opportunities in fitness, automotive, and gaming, with huge potential for blockchain-driven applications.
Key Opportunities for Polkadot
• Strengthen US market presence both online and physically, with a focus on Miami.
• Prepare the Polkadot creative startup ecosystem for the next market cycle by supporting utility-driven business models.
• Position Polkadot as a leader in the creative economy for sectors like art, fashion, music, cinema, and design.
• Integrate Polkadot’s Web3 tools within traditional creative industries (e.g., auctions, fairs, film, music, architecture).
Our collaboration with Polkadot will be exclusive; we will not run any other accelerations related to other blockchain brands in 2025.
Insights from the Polkadot Creative Community (received so far)
We’re aware that gaining user traction and investor trust is crucial for sustainable growth within Polkadot’s creative ecosystem. The Fuelarts x BitBasel accelerator will go beyond just launching startups; we aim to set a new standard of responsibility and sustainability in “creative tech.”
Our focus is on MVP / MVP+ startups with dedicated user bases that see Polkadot as their long-term platform. Additionally, we see Web2 audiences as an entry point, with plans to onboard Art Basel’s 200K+ client base via a Polkadot-powered payment solution. We’ll meet with Art Basel’s blockchain team in December and aim to reach out to Sotheby’s, Christie’s, and other sectors like music, film, and fashion.
While Polkadot currently hosts many art marketplaces, our approach is to enhance existing platforms by increasing asset utility and engagement, rather than simply adding more. We’ll keep pace with NFT trends and introduce branding strategies to help Polkadot startups stand out, ensuring relevance and long-term growth.
We’re looking forward to your questions, insights, and any advice you can share. Let’s work together to make Polkadot’s creative ecosystem stronger and more resilient.
