Enhancing Polkadot's Visibility in Industry Reports and Publications

I’d like to address an issue that has been on many of our minds lately: Polkadot’s representation in industry whitepapers, reports, and other publications. It’s so important that our ecosystem receives the recognition it deserves, and we all have a role to play in making this happen.

Problem

We’ve noticed that Polkadot is sometimes overlooked or underrepresented in key industry publications. Reports and other third-party channels are critical if we want to speak outside our echochamber for growth, adoption, and overall perception.

Solution

At the Distractive offsite earlier this month, I sat down with Distractive’s PR Lead @JDD (@JDDuran) to discuss this issue, and we want to share how to go about this:

  1. Corrections / Additions: If you come across any report or publication that you believe should include Polkadot, write a brief explanation of why and how Polkadot addresses the relevant topics, and reach out to Jonathan.
  2. Proactive Content Creation: If you want to create your own content for placement in (reputable) outlets, like reports, commentary, or blog posts that showcase a particular technical or other strength of Polkadot, please draft an outline and connect with Jonathan to discuss potential pitching opportunities.
