I haven’t really thought along these lines yet. However, based on the above conversation, I definitely realise there are some areas that need more research. Thanks for directing me here. I guess I will think more about this and try to revert with my views.
Also related: Avail is an ethereum aligned DA-layer based on substrate. One would think working on relations with them as well could be an alley towards more collaboration between the two religions.
Check this video for some advancements they have done, for example proof of consensus for substrate / GRANDPA.
