I don’t think reducing the number of validators in Kusama from 1,000 to 500 is a good idea. Such a change would mainly benefit large validators while pushing smaller operators out of the network.
Likewise, I don’t agree with a minimum commission, neither on Kusama nor in the way it is being proposed for Polkadot by Jonas.
