The evolving landscape of the global energy sector underscores a pressing need for innovative solutions.

Central to this transformation is the growing role of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), which include localized energy generation and storage forms, such as solar panels and batteries. Traditional, centralized energy systems could be more efficient and environmentally sustainable. DERs offer a path towards a more flexible, resilient, and sustainable energy grid by generating power closer to the point of consumption and enabling consumer participation in energy production and distribution.
