# Polkadot Symbiosis in Buenos Aires

Hello community, my name is Santiago Valencia, and I am currently participating actively in the Polkadot ecosystem and through learning, research and community construction.

I am a student at the **Polkadot**  **Blockchain**  **Academy** (PBAX), which has allowed me to strengthen my technical knowledge and at the same time share them in my region to inspire more people to join the web 3 movement.

**Activities and contributions (2024 - 2025)**

1. **Meetupps and Community in Medellín**

I organized a Meetup in Medellín (Q2 2025) where I shared knowledge about Polkadot, governance and web3.

From this meeting:

A person decided to join the PBA3.

Part of the team with which I am building Xiimalab, a laboratory focused on web3 technological adoption, was formed.

1. **Participation in Spaces and Dissemination**

I was part of the **SpaceForbuild**  **Medellín** (Q2 2025), where I shared perspectives on **Polkadot** and connected with more builders in the region.

In social networks and community spaces I have disseminated my research on the ecosystem, showing the importance of interoperability and decentralized governance in our local context.

### 3. Education and Training

- currendly course the **Polkadot Blockchain Academy (PBAx)**, that has been a pilar in my technical training.

- I am developing **XiimaLab** , A space for experimentation learning and web community with focus on polkadot, to bring technology closer to more people in Latin America

## Impact on my environment

- I inspired other membes to join the **PBA** and deepen the ecosystem

- I generated **comnunity in Medellín** , connecting students, developers y enthusiastic Web3.

- With my research and dissemination spaces, I have helped position Polkadot

## Motivation to attend a Symbiosis 2025

My motivation to attend a **Polkadot Symbiosis 2025** is:

- Represent the community of Medellín and Latinoamérica.

- Share learning acquired in the **PBA** and in the construction of **XiimaLab**.

- Strengthen connections with global leaders and bring more Knowledge and opportunities to my region.

**Region and requested support**
