# **Polkadot News**

To follow up on yesterday’s anonymous winning of a parachain lease, the winner, parathread ID 2058, was Watr Protocol. With 6 days left to vote, Referendum 75, proposing to upgrade the Polkadot relay chain runtime to v9820 is passing by a wide margin. [https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referendum/75](https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referendum/75)

**Kusama News**

It is being used as a proof of concept to test how anonymous proxies can make decisions via governance - see the link above for details.
