## Kusama News

With 10 hours left in the current parachain lease auction, Alpha Network has been in the lead the vast majority of the Ending Period. [https://parachains.info/auctions/kusama](https://parachains.info/auctions/kusama)

However, both Karura and Basilisk have been in the lead during the Ending Period, so according to the rules of the candle auction, both have a possibility of winning. [Web3 and Polkadot - Polkadot Wiki](https://wiki.polkadot.network/docs/learn-auction#mechanics-of-a-candle-auction)
