Open letter to Gavin wood

I actually haven’t seen Gavin respond to many forum discussions, so I’m genuinely curious—what would people expect him to do in practice?

If he simply joined the conversation and said he supports the ecosystem, would that materially change adoption or builder activity?

Personally, I wonder whether the bigger opportunity is enabling more builders, founders, educators, and community members to tell Polkadot’s story through real applications rather than relying on a single voice.

For example, we recently shared our vision for ComputeFlux on the forum as an AI infrastructure project for the Polkadot ecosystem. I wasn’t expecting an endorsement, but I was hoping for more technical discussion or feedback from the community. I noticed a few other new projects made post on forum had a similar experience.

I think builder engagement is just as important as marketing. Some times, early-stage teams often don’t need funding first—they need conversations, feedback, and a sense that someone is listening.

If experienced ecosystem leaders occasionally participated in these discussions, I think it would encourage more builders to keep investing their time in Polkadot.
