Hi all, opening this topic for discussing/suggesting grant ideas and project wishlists for the [Web3 Foundation grants program](https://github.com/w3f/Grants-Program#web3-foundation-grants-program).

New teams who intend to participate in the grants program are always looking for ideas and inspiration. **If you have a wishlist or project ideas that you think should be built in our ecosystem, feel free to share them here.**

This forum topic could then be used for teams applying for new grants as a reference.

As a starting point, we have the [Polkadot Stack page on the wiki](https://wiki.polkadot.network/docs/build-open-source) that lists a bunch of ideas about building or maintaining open source projects in the Polkadot ecosystem.

Adding to the wishlist, I’d love to have an app or just a polkadot.js app module for XCM calls, with all the common calls simplified into a nice UI (making xtokens transfer as simple as a normal balance transfer, for example). A modular approach would be necessary, as XCM calls vary a lot from chain to chain, so it could be implemented in a way where each chain has their own “metadata” module that provides the app with instructions as to how to render modules for specific calls and allows for chains to define complex calls and add to the registry, similar to the way polkadot.js apps works.

Thanks for mentioning us. The pre-release of XCM SDK containing support for a range of Polkadot & Kusama nodes (29 atm to be exact) will be released either today or tomorrow! From then, making sure, that SDK is well documented & is easy to implement into projects & contains support for multiple asset forms is intended with a followup grant. Everything will be documented & you can check/try it out (via prebuilt UI). That will demonstrate how SDK will work with prebuilt local network consisting of three nodes & relay node 🙂 more on that in [ParaSpell · GitHub](http://github.com/paraspell). Cheers!

I love this idea. Imagine having a catalogue of XCM tasks that allow you to bridge and stake or bridge and supply liquidity in a lending or liquidity pool in a single transaction. Then add OAK to schedule these transactions for the future or add Manta to make the same transaction private. 🕶

We’ve already jammed about this with Hoon from Astar in Berlin on 9/22. It seems like a legit idea making of instructions marketplace to leverage beauty of Polkadot 🙂

great, you’ve hit the nail on the head. we are building something you might be interested in which covers this exact solution, via a composable workflow builder, called Bagpipes. We’re very early, but it would be great if you were a tester ( if you are interested ).

You can find the links below to access to join the beta, or you can run your own local instance (links at bottom). Hello Community, During the last few months, we have been building a powerful no-code builder to create workflows leveraging cross-chain (xcm) infrastructure. Just like a “Zapier for Web3”. We’d love to share …

Hi,

I’d like to share grant proposal idea in this section, please let me know what do you guys thinks, feedback are super valuable for us.

Project Name: Quidli

Executive Summary
Quidli is a micro on-ramp connecting Web 2.0 apps and web3 assets for you to embed crypto rewards and incentives into your collaboration workflows to boost participation and motivation.
Link to a 2-minute pitch video explaining our existing product:

> **[quidli\_walkthrough.mp4](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wC06Aa9J4XzQT14pVRy7WCfQ-sRc17vl/view?usp=sharing)**
>
> Google Drive file.

Proposal
We propose to you to build a light integration of Polkadot to Quidli by adding DOT to our API and hosted app environment. This will enable you to seamlessly distribute DOT tokens as rewards to the top active participants in your community directly in your Slack, Telegram or Discord.
In addition to helping you internally share DOT tokens within your ecosystem, this integration lets us offer DOT to our user base of 1000+ organizations as an option via Quidli’s open token platform.

Outputs:
Once completed, $DOT token will be available as an option on:

1. Quidli web app
2. Quidli Slack app
3. Quidli Discord app
4. Quidli GitHub app
5. Quidli Telegram app
6. Any subsequent integrations built by Quidli

Benefits for Polkadot ecosystem:
We’d like to help Polkadot build an awesome community and ecosystem by enabling boost community engagement using token incentives. Sharing more tokens with community members can help you to establish a positive alignment flywheel leading to more contributions and ultimately growth towards your main mission and objectives.

Budget:

We’re asking for $10,000 (in DOT) to kick off the integration work.

This amount will cover the initial development work + our maintenance costs + give Quidli exposure to DOT.

Adding to the wishlist…. This idea sparked from my experience in the surveying construction industry. Over the past decade we have experienced a truly revolutionary evolution in construction industry via drones as they changed the efficiency in the way topographic data is collected. As of now, all of the cloud based solutions are insanely priced and I believe blockchain technology can revolutionize the data collection/storage. Also, as of now the everyday user has to rely on a 3rd party cloud based monopoly to store/view this data and needs a really good computer to process the data if you wanted to process yourself
