I don’t believe many others in this ecosystem have as large a network of potential ecosystem contributors as William, Eric, and Vincent within the APAC region. Im in support of this proposal. There are two programs within the success team where leads can be passed in as long as no private commercials are involved - the effectiveness of this proposal should be quite easy to monitor. Once the budget has been outlined, the CAC to the foundation should be clear.

Would like to express my support for Cris Nguyen. Polkadot insider has had a great impact in the ecosystem and his active role in networking with different teams shows that his is highly qualified.
I also agree that it is of utmost importance to have representation in the APAC region.

The growth witnessed in the APAC region within the crypto and blockchain domain over the past year is remarkable, and the statistics speak for themselves. The APAC region holds immense potential and has a lot of room to grow for Polkadot’s ecosystem such as the developer communities, defi & gamefi projects,.etc.
The diverse talents within this team, combined with their passion for the ecosystem’s growth will make a big move in this promising market. Really support them in the next steps.

As a team based in Asia and have been building heavily in Polkadot (SubWallet, Dotinsights, and DOTinVietnam), I can affirm that Asia holds tremendous potential as a market for Polkadot.
We wholeheartedly support the initiatives led by Cris, William, Rhee, Vincent, and Eric. We eagerly anticipate a more detailed plan and roadmap from the team, complete with ambitious OKRs for 2024. Together, let’s contribute to the continued success and growth of the Polkadot ecosystem.

Great initiative driven by an experienced and well rounded team which have expertise and an understanding of these markets. Polkadot needs a firmer physical presence on the APAC side which I believe this proposal can achieve. A focus on bringing builders across these markets is key and now is the time to drive this full throttle.

I am 100% supportive of this initiative - I am a new grad from the recent PBA in Hong Kong (and I am also local here from Hong Kong). My background is from Web2 and enterprise side so Web3/Blockchain is new to me. I learnt a lot from the PBA and I can see how great the technology Polkadot has but frankly, Polkadot is not widely known in Hong Kong. Hong Kong government is very aggressive in pushing the city to become the global Web3 hub so I think there are ample opportunities for Polkadot to engage with the community as well as with government and enterprises here to create a successful ecosystem!
